Hi, I'm Megan! I'm a writer and teacher living in rural Indiana with my husband, daughter, and energetic Blue Heeler Ivy. I was raised in Colorado and absolutely love being outdoors—hiking, camping, biking—you name it! My other passions include reading, running, crafting, eating popcorn, and watching trashy reality TV shows.

Mission

Writing has always been my medium for making sense of the world around me. I decided to start a blog in 2023 when my husband and I began IVF. The more I opened up about our experiences, the more others reached out to tell me that they too were struggling through infertility. My dream for this site is that it offers both community and a soft place to land for women on every step of the journey toward motherhood. And more than anything, to remind them that they are not alone.

Vision

While much of my writing is centered around infertility, miscarriage, and motherhood, you will also find blog posts about faith and religious deconstruction, as well as body image and disability. These are themes that sprouted from my debut memoir, Temple and Ash—available soon for pre-order!
